Thank you for your interest in opportunities with DC Public Schools.

Thank you for your interest in DC Public Schools! This is the online application system for all of our Central Office Positions. Before you enter the online application, please make sure that you have read and understood the following:

1. This online application is only for central office positions. Certain central office positions may spend the majority of their time in school sites, including some  Head Start and Special Education positions.  To clarify the exact location of the position, you should refer to the details in the position announcement for the position to which you are applying.

      2. You will need to select the position for which you are applying from a drop-down menu so be sure to have the appropriate job title written down.

      3. If you are applying for school-based instructional positions (teaching, educational aide, librarian, related service provider positions, etc), visit Teach DC.

      4. If you are applying for school leadership positions (principal and assistant principal), visit Lead DC.

All applications will be screened within 15 business days of the submission date and all applicants will be notified via email.

Please note that once you begin or submit a position application, you may not return to it at a later time. Please allow approximately 20-25 minutes to complete the online application.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, QuickBase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, QuickBase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. QuickBase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
