Donatelli Development and Blue Skye Development
Hill East, formerly known as Reservation 13, is comprised of 67 acres located between the eastern edge of the Capitol Hill neighborhood and the western shore of the Anacostia River.  For more than 150 years, the 67-acre site was an isolated campus, separated from the neighborhood it adjoins and an obstacle between residents and the waterfront. On September 14, 2010, Reservation 13 was conveyed to the District of Columbia on September 14, 2010 via a Quitclaim Deed by the Federal Department of General Services. The District’s goals for the redevelopment of Hill East is set forth in the 2003 Hill East Master Plan (“Master Plan”) which was approved by the Council of the District of Columbia and servers as supplement guidance to the Comprehensive Plan for the Nation's Capital. The first phase of redevelopment for Hill East includes 2 parcels (F-1 & G-1) identified in the Master Plan. In April, 2013 the District selected Donatelli Development and Blue Skye Development LLC as the winner of the RFP process.  The disposition package which includes the negotiated Land Disposition Agreement was approved by Council in December 2014. The Land Disposition Agreement was signed by Mayor Bowser on March 2, 2015. Groundbreaking for the first building (Parcel G-1) occurred on May 4, 2018 and the ribbon cutting for the same took place on November 6, 2020.  Groundbreaking for the second building (Parcel G-1) occurred on November 6, 2020 and the ribbon cutting for the same took place on February 13, 2023.  The roadway infrastructure construction for all of Phase 1 was completed by DDOT in June 2020.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
