Peace of Mind Essentials Part 3: Coaching Session Focused on Implementation
This three-part interactive virtual training provides educators, school staff and teachers working with pre-K through Grade 8 students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the Peace of Mind Curriculum. This curriculum helps students notice and manage their emotions, practice kindness, empathy and gratitude, build healthy relationships and become peacemakers. The Peace of Mind Curriculum equips educators to support the well-being of their students, build connected classrooms and contribute to kinder and more inclusive school communities.

As the final session of this three-part series, OSSE, in partnership with Peace of Mind, will host a one-hour group coaching session that will give you concrete ideas about how to begin or continue the process of bringing Peace of Mind to your classroom or school community. How will you approach the four Ps of planning for success this year? Well talk about: (1) Placement: where will Peace of Mind fit in the school week; (2) Pacing: what is the timeline for implementation; (3) Partners: who is on the Peace of Mind team and who will facilitate implementation; (4) Programming: how to integrate Peace of Mind with existing programs.

This training is intended for educators, school staff and teachers serving grades pre-K through grade 8. Participants will receive 1 professional learning unit (PLU) for full participation in each of the three sessions, for a total of 3 PLUs for full participation in all three sessions. When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
